Thekla Thursday Warrior. Is more of the spenny places to go as a student, however one of the most loved. Does more indie music, and has everyone dancing along. If you don’t go on a Thursday, Saturday is the other night to go!

The worst club in existence and a first year favourite. Hated the place and yet ended up there every Monday without fail. Good shot deals, drinks are quite cheap. Am convinced the DJs use the same mix every week. Utopia Monday brings a huge queue and an overcrowded club. Can’t miss it!

Use the app and it’s £3 entry on a Wednesday and Thursday. Great gay club, fun dance floor and shot prices. Note the place is slowly getting more expensive. I miss the 99p jägerbombs and free entry.

Big club, good on a Saturday. More expensive than other places. The downstairs is generic pop, the upstairs is DnB and Hip-Hop. It feels like a better version of Pryzm.

Great place to go, good music, popular with last year’s second years.

Mr Wolfs on a Tuesday has live music in the evening before turning into a club post midnight. Very popular, you have to get there before 8pm or after midnight or you’ll be stuck in a queue for 2 hours. Great smoking area.

Great place to study. Has student discount and does the yummiest Gingerbread Latte’s during the winter. Very close to senate house, so perfect place to drop in to between lectures!

£2 for drinks on a Monday! Beware - gets very busy. Would recommend getting a seat and ordering to the table. Good place to work, great student place with everyone locking in so easy to concentrate.

The coolest cafe, looks like a Victorian public bathroom (it’s clean I promise!) It’s quite small and not that busy, the perfect place to go with a friend and have a catch up chat :)

Very cute cafe, has lovely food! Recommend as a brunch spot with your girlfriends.

Has a 2 for 1 lunchtime deal, meaning if you go with a friend it’s £5 for a pizza each. Also has a Matcha deal - and they do the yummiest Matcha. Very good Italian pizza, a first year favourite!

This is lovely in summer. Again, look out for discounts and deals. Good cocktails.

My fave pub! Monday has 20% discount all night and 20% off before 7pm every day. Gets very busy during the summer as has a lovely beer garden. Great Bristolian cider - 5.7% yum. Would recommend the Apple and Pear cider, it’s a crowd favourite.

Good student pub, discounts on Wednesday’s if you belong to a society - make one up!

Pool tables!!!!! Good student pub. Great place to go if there’s a match on - although get there early to grab a table because it will fill up fast.

Student discount. Pub Quiz. Best pub garden. Again, fills up in the summer, arrive after 5pm and you won’t be able to get a seat. Has Aperol Spritzers for £6!

Known for its Bristolian cider, another favourite for students. The steam cider is my fave, £3.50 but you must have unifi, and the Perry’s half pint is 7.5% and lethal but £2.50 and perfect for before the club

The famous 10 before 10. Exactly as it says on the tin, attempt to drink 10 half-pints of the Exhibition cider before 10pm. Beware, this creates demons in your friends and the worst hangxiety of your life!!!!!

Popular on a Tuesday with Mr Wolfs. Has downstairs rooms that are quite cool, with different DJ sets. Often free to enter.

Good cinema, but slightly spenny. Good place to study as open until late.

Senate House - good place to study. Loads of different rooms, places to chat, places to be quiet, places with giant sofas. There’s everything! Also has a student cafe with good iced coffee!

Open 24hrs! Beware, you will end up bumping into everyone you know at 4am and fail to write your essay as a result

If you want somewhere to romanticise your study and lock in, this is the place. You have to get there early or you won’t get a seat, but this means you start your day productively! Beautiful, silent. It makes you work hard. Kudos for being the set of Sex Education Season 4
