one of the best bookshops in edinburgh for its size and range of books. has the perfect aesthetics and a mysterious mood.

this is probably my most visited bookshops in Edinburgh, as it is conveniently located near the main museum. is pretty big and the staff there are always friendly and helpful.

so underrated. a smaller bookshop but it always has a curated selection with both popular and less known titles, all written by women. it also has a sizable non-fiction section with essay collections and memoirs.

a small bookshop that is located near the meadows, so worth a visit if you are a romance fan in that area! it is also, i believe, the first romance bookshop in the uk.

famous, of course, for the beautiful views from its cafe, this is a large bookshop where you are likely to find a specific book if you are looking for it. it is a chain however so i would recommend supporting independent bookshops first!
