- ♾️/10 - absolute cinema - i have never watched anything like it - it is genuinely the most beautiful film i have ever seen. there was no true villain, because the unfairness, hardships of life and the realism of life was the antagonist of the film. - IU. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WORK. i don’t know how she didn’t win the award for best actress with those roles PLURAL. - she portrayed aesun and geum-myeong so well, it never once felt like it was the same actress portraying both characters, she’s unbeatable. - i loved loved loved the plot, it made me sob so hard, made me think so much about life, how it comes and goes, how much is taken for granted, which is probably why i love the film so much; especially knowing that within a year, i’m entering adulthood. - gwansik (park bogum) the man you are. the standard has never been raised so high, that character was such an amazing man, husband, father, i don’t have a single complaint about him, which is rare. - chungseob isn’t a slack either. yes, he did not jump from a boat to swim to his girlfriend, and no he did not have to give everything his family had in order to get her family to agree to marry him but the way he handled geum-myeong’s delivery was taken of note and i applaud it. - the cinematography!!!! i’m so obsessed, i wish i had the talent to make a masterpiece like this i’ve never been more envious of the actors, the directors, the producers and the writers of this drama, golly gee - i can say this may be the best drama in existence.
