How did you become a 1D fan??

it all started in 2015. when i was 4 years old, everyone around me was singing the famous song “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Direction. i was young at the time so i had no idea what a hiatus meant or when zayn left. my favorite song was Drag Me Down. although, after a long time i lost track of them and stopped listening. over the summer, I was trying to think. what was that song I was always listening to? I couldn’t remember. until October 18th 2024. I had realized that Liam passed away, and everyone was listening to them so I was like why not give it a try? then I realized. this is the song I always listened to. song after song, I continued listening. seeing everything Liam had done in his lifetime brought me back to an era that i was the most happiest. I’ll always love him for that reason. this fandom was another reason i decided to make a fanpage, everyone always treats each other with kindness as harry said. long story short this is probably one of the best fandoms i’ve ever been in! nearly 3 months of joy and happiness after awhile.

My dad used to play wmyb and lwwy on the TV when I was little and every time they released a music video he would play it. So I listened to them alot with my dad!

i was going through some childhood songs i loved and i was trying to remember the title of a song that went “let’s go crazy crazy crazy till we see the sun.” i realized it was sang by 1D. at that point i was going through all of their songs and i absolutely loved all of them which was crazy for me bc i usually wouldn’t like every song by an artist. this made me very into 1D and made me watch vids and concerts of them. everything abt them made me fall in love with them and their music. <3

So basically it was 2016 and I was 5 and my cousin was 15 and she was and still is a 1D fan but a 1D song came up on the radio (I forgot what song) and she was like omg one direction! And I was like whats one direction? And she started showing me more of their songs and I've been in love with them ever since!

it was 2011 and they came on the radio when i was in the car and i LOVED them so when we got home i watched all their music videos and every day that year i listened to their music, now i still love them!

I genuinely have no memory of how I started listening to them. I was probably around 4 or 5 when I started, knowing my family it'll have come from the radio though.

I was always aware of them and i always thought Zayn and Niall were cute, when i watched Big Time Rush i saw them in that show😭 (to be fair they were mostly be slandered) and then my teacher put on Best Song Ever in like 2021 and i was like “wow this is super good” and i went on a deep dive. Thats sort of when i became a Niall fan. I liked them but not enough to be like a mega fan. Now since the tragic news of Liam’s passing i sort went back to my phase and now its like my life. I hate that this is how i reentered my phase but thats how it happened😕
