 Notes
Itâs like watching two people drown, but they keep pulling each other under and calling it love. I wouldnât say itâs a âromanceâ in the traditional senseâitâs a slow unraveling of pride, fear, trauma, and some seriously toxic dynamics. But itâs written well.
Serena as a character is fascinating. Sheâs cold, strategic, but not hollow. You can feel the years of damage in how she interacts with love, and it makes sense, even when itâs frustrating.
The art? Beautiful. Elegant, expressive, and so atmospheric it makes the silence between lines feel loud. Some scenes made me pause just to sit in the mood.
Itâs not for people who want a healthy love story or easy closure.
