上流階級の子供が通う私立秀知院学園史上、最も熱い戦いとなった第68期生徒会長選挙が終わっても、生徒会長の白銀御行(平野紫耀)と副会長の四宮かぐや(橋本環奈)は自分から告白したほうが負けだという考え方にとらわれていた。会計監査に新メンバーの伊井野ミコ(影山優佳)を加えた生徒会室で、白銀とかぐやによる相手に告白させるためのバトルが再び始まる。

「バットマン」や「スーパーマン」を生んだDCコミックスに登場する悪役たちがチームを組んで戦う姿を描いたアクションエンタテインメント。デビッド・エアー監督により映画化された「スーサイド・スクワッド」を、「ガーディアンズ・オブ・ギャラクシー」シリーズで大きな成功を収めたジャームズ・ガン監督が新たに描く。ジョーカーと別れて彼氏募集中の身になり、ますますクレイジーになったハーレイ・クインを筆頭に、最強スナイパーのブラッドスポート、虹色のスーツに身を包んだ陰キャのポルカドットマン、平和のためには暴力もいとわないという矛盾な生き様のピース・メイカー、ネズミを操って戦うラットキャッチャー2、そして食欲以外に興味のないキング・シャークという、いずれも強烈な個性をもった悪党たちが、減刑と引き換えに、危険な独裁国家から世界を救うという決死のミッションに挑む。出演は、前作に続いてハーレイ・クイン役を演じるマーゴット・ロビーほか、イドリス・エルバ、ジョン・シナ、ジョエル・キナマンら。サメの姿をしたキャラクター、キング・シャークの声をシルベスター・スタローンが担当した。

フレッチャー・リードは自他共に認める一流の弁護士。どんなに無理な依頼でも、彼は得意の“嘘”で無罪を勝ち取ってしまう。そのいかなる時も嘘をついて切り抜ける姿勢は私生活でも変わらず、そんな彼に妻のオードリーは愛想を尽かして息子のマックスを連れて出て行ってしまう。それでも彼は嘘をつくことをやめず、マックスの誕生日パーティをすっぽかし、またも適当な嘘でごまかすのだった。その夜、傷ついたマックスは「パパが一日だけでも嘘をつきませんように」と神に願う。するとフレッチャーは絶対に嘘をつけないようになってしまった。そして順調だった彼の人生は一変する。
