Then, to cook them, I use olive oil in a pan, or you can also use coconut oil. Both are excellent options to replace corn oil. REMEMBER: It’s possible that when you add banana to the pancake mixture, the batter or the pancakes themselves may turn a little darker. This happens because the banana contains natural sugars that, when heated, can caramelize and give the mixture a darker color. This color change doesn’t affect the taste or texture of the pancakes, but it’s normal when using fruits like banana in cooking recipes. So it’s not because you burned them, don’t worry! 🤎 Finally, when serving them, I personally like to add honey.

Ingredients + Instructions: This recipe will be divided into bowl 1 and bowl 2, and then we will combine them. In bowl 1, place: • 3 cups -> 450 grams of all-purpose flour • 2 teaspoons -> 10 grams of cornstarch • Half a teaspoon -> 2 grams of baking soda • 1 teaspoon -> 5 grams of salt Whisk everything together and set aside bowl 1. For example: Bowl “A”: chocolate chips Bowl “B”: crushed Oreos Once you have the different flavors, refrigerate them for 1 hour. After that hour, form 6 balls and gently flatten them with your hand. Once this is done, bake them in the oven for 7-9 minutes at 350° F. Finally, let them rest for about 15 minutes.

In this section, you’ll learn how to make the famous “Devil’s Food Cake”. This recipe is very special to me because a friend taught me how to make it back in 2020. CAKE INGREDIENTS: • 240 ml of hot water • 65 grams of cocoa powder • 230 grams of all-purpose flour • 1 pinch of salt • 1 tablespoon of baking soda • 1 tablespoon of baking powder • 350 grams of sugar • 150 grams of unsalted butter • 3 eggs at room temperature • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract • 290 ml of milk CAKE INSTRUCTIONS: • Dissolve the cocoa powder in the hot water and let it cool. • Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F). • Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a bowl. • Cream the sugar and butter together until well combined. • Add the eggs, one at a time, to the butter and sugar mixture. Do not add the next egg until the previous one is fully incorporated. • Mix in the vanilla extract, the cooled cocoa mixture, and the milk. Keep beating until smooth. • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. • Pour the batter into a buttered cake pan. • Bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 180 °C (350 °F). Keep an eye on it and check regularly! FROSTING INGREDIENTS & INSTRUCTIONS: • Mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and melted butter. Beat until you achieve a paste-like consistency. • Once the mixture has cooled, add cold heavy cream and mix until you get the desired texture for spreading. • Spread the frosting evenly over the cake using a spatula or knife for a smooth finish.
