Riqueza, fama, poder... un hombre había obtenido todo en este mundo, era el Rey de los Piratas Gold Roger. Antes de morir sus últimas palabras inspiraron al mundo a aventurarse al mar: "¿Mi tesoro? Si lo queréis es vuestro... lo he escondido todo en ese lugar". Y así dio comienzo lo que se conoce como la Gran Era de la Piratería, lanzando a cientos de piratas al mar para encontrar el gran tesoro One Piece. Esta serie relata las aventuras y desventuras de uno de esos piratas, Monkey D. Luffy, quien accidentalmente de pequeño, comió una Fruta del Diablo (Akuma no Mi en japonés), en particular una Gomu Gomu no Mi que hizo que su cuerpo ganara las propiedades físicas de la goma, convirtiéndose en el hombre de goma. Luffy, después de dicho suceso, decide que se convertirá en el próximo Rey de los Piratas y para ello, deberá encontrar el "One Piece".

Pour mieux les contrôler, des guildes ont été créées et mises sous la responsabilité du conseil des mages. Outre la nécessité de contrôle des mages, ce réseau a une autre utilité, en effet il permet de fournir un large choix de mages au client, et un large choix de missions au mage par le biais des avis. Year 198 of the Solar Era in Tokyo, special fire brigades are fighting against a phenomenon called spontaneous human combustion where humans beings are turned into living infernos called "Infernals". While the Infernals are first generation cases of spontaneous human combustion, later generations possess the ability to manipulate flames while retaining human form. Shinra Kusakabe, a youth who gained the nickname Devil's Footprints for his ability to ignite his feet at will, joins the Special Fire Force Company 8 which composes of other flames users as they work to extinguish any Infernals they encounter. As a faction that is creating Infernals appears, Shira begins to uncover the truth behind a mysterious fire that caused the death of his family twelve years ago.

Yuki, une étudiante sourde, se retrouve un jour en difficulté lorsqu'un élève de son école, Itsuomi, lui vient en aide. Pourtant, Itsuomi n'est pas du tout déconcerté par le fait qu'elle n'entende pas et interagit naturellement avec elle. Yukari est une jeune lycéenne modèle n'écoutant que ses parents. Bien que peu enthousiaste dans un premier temps face à un groupe de jeunes excentrique, elle va finir par réaliser que ce sont des personnes agréable et à son écoute contrairement aux autres et va accepter de défiler pour eux. La passion et l'enthousiasme des jeunes à travailler pour ce qu'ils aiment va faire prendre conscience à Yukari qu'elle n'est pas dans la voie qu'elle désire vraiment et va la motiver à poursuivre ses propres rêves.
