Notes
i dont think ive read such a book that has such phenomenal characterisation, especially since I felt like i was really clarice at some points. the book and the movie never disappoint, but the book is absolutely outstanding.
the graphic and intricate detail of what hannibal did, the way clarice felt, and the explanation of buffalo bills and catherine martin. this was a very well written book, and It was impossible for me to put down.
i will never stay quiet about the way hannibal is written, how an individual can eat another without any empathy, and yet, he didn't care about what he did to miggs in respect towards clarice? he may be a cannibal but he's not a monster. they dont have a name for what he is, after all.
