Easy and cool 30 mins hike. Entrance fee was like $40 but worth it :)

Sick safari. We saw SO many animals

Thought it would be the classic tourist trap but it ended up being so cool. It’s free and a train comes by every 30/40 minutes. Guides will try to trick you at the entrance of the path but just say no and go by yourselff💞🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Nothing crazy but it’s a 30 mins hike worth doing just to do some extra sport :). If you are in a rush it is not worth it haha

Super sick train. People does Kandy-Ella but it is full of tourists and like 7h. Instead, our guide told us we should take the train from Nanuoya to Ella. 100% worth it. It was emptyyy and we could just sit by the doors through the whole 3 hours

I hadn’t seen it in any tiktok/guide but it is SO COOL. So basically it is a little town that the british built next to the tea plantations in order to get tea for the UK. It is like a mini england with european buildings. It’s actually so cool to walk around and ser the contrast w the rest of sti lanka

Such a cool uni. Harvard style but in sri lanka. It’s very interesting to see as everything you see in Sri Lanka is so untouched and traditional that seeing this western-like uni is actually shocking. Worth spending a couple hours going for a walk
