This place is a total vibe. The cocktails are nothing short of incredible. On top of that, the bartenders are super fun, the music is great, and the place is beautiful — always extra points for a disco ball. The “San” is a must try on their menu: a tequila based cocktail with coconut and palo santo flavours. It smells and tastes…divine 🥁.

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, ask them for recommendations based on what you like and they will find the best wine for you. The ice creams are to die for, the highlight (and MUST try) is the Olive Oil one.

This place was recommended by a Parisian bartender when we asked for…well, a speakeasy. We went to another bar that shall not be named, that is high up on the 50 Best Bars list, and this one ate and left no crumbs. RIP the other one. The place gives that prohibition look and serves gorgeous cocktails for every taste. They have their own creations but can also make basically any classic you ask. Staff 10/10.

Sinner is a fancy as hell (pun intended) 5-star hotel that houses a restaurant and bar in their ground floor. It’s a red-lit, church-like (there’s even a confessional), smoky place that drips with sexy vibes. Hot people all around (staff included) and great tunes makes it for a perfect Friday pre-party. Expect to drop 20€ for the cheapest cocktail, but yolo.

Free entrance on the first Sunday of every month! If you’re not into any of the artsy stuff, at least check out their store (you don’t need tickets for that!). They have an awesome selection of everything we love about a museum shop: objects, decoration, toys, art, furniture, books, it’s a dream!

We didn’t get to see any exhibition other than the rooms that showcase the making of the building itself, which is mind blowing. A definite must see for architecture lovers. Speaking of which, the building is gorgeous, truly one of a kind, it’s worth the visit just because of it. There’s a shuttle (around 2€ pp, bookable online) that goes from the Arc de Triomphe to the Foundation (and back) every 20 minutes.

We’ve never been inside the Louvre so don’t trust me if I tell you that this one is better, but trust me when I tell you I had real goosebumps with what they have there — from the architecture to the sound design. Check the program before you go to see what they are showing other than their own collection. We were lucky enough to see the Iris Van Herpen exhibition there, which is by far the most beautiful and well curated exhibit we’ve ever seen. We had no idea this place existed until a lovely Parisian recommended it to us — bless her.

Sit by the kitchen counter and what the chef build one small plate after another (some of them yours) while you sip on one of their perfectly recommended wine options. When the food gets to you, be ready for a flavour explosion in every bite. A rollercoaster of emotions with the happiness of the first try and the sadness when it’s over. I’d say 4 or 5 plates is enough food for a couple, but who knows. Go bonkers. The menu is seasonal and divided into Vegetables, Sea, and Earth. We loved everything that we tried. Highlights: the duck, pork, and pointed cabbage dishes.

La Jacobine is a Parisian gem. Totally unpretentious and, quite frankly, not attractive place. Funny how there’s tons of gorgeous and busy brasseries on the way there depending on where you walk from. But don’t fall for them, La Jacobine will make you fall in love after the first bite. The menu is a love letter to French cuisine, a great opportunity to try authentic flavours paired with your favourite French wine. Oh La La. Must try: magnet de canard (duck breast).

What a great restaurant! Sick place, lovely staff, delicious food, great wine selection…what else could you ask for? The freshest oysters we’ve ever had and one of the best orange wines too (don’t remember the name, ask for a dry one and they will give you something?). Great for people watching too, loads of cool and good looking Parisians.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to go to a restaurant where you have to climb over the table to get to the other side, eat four-cheese fondue, and drink wine out of a baby bottle? Then go to this place to find out that it’s actually really fun. Definitely an experience.

Wow. Just WOW! Probably the best sandwiches we’ve ever had, paired with their delicious IPA (own brand). Perfect casual lunch spot even though we walked by at night and the place was buzzing with cool people and blasting some bangers. The “bun pastrami” is a must try!

Ok, this one is a bit touristy but hear me out: if you want the perfect view of the Eiffel Tower while eating delicious food, being served fantastic wine (or champagne) by the friendliest staff, and enjoying some great tunes…this is the place. Not cheap, they will even charge you extra if you want outdoor seating with guaranteed views of the tower, but it’s totally worth it for a one of a kind experience if you like to romanticise that kind of stuff. We do, and we loved it! Must try: the “explosion aromatique” starter (beef fillet tataki seasoned with 11 spices) and the “baba embargo” dessert (classic French baba au rhum).

If you live in this world and are on foodie Instagram or TikTok, you must have seen a video of this famous pastry chef, Cédric Grolet, working on the most mouth watering pastries. That’s one of his cafes where you can go taste the most delicate pastries ever. We went for an afternoon tea at their upstairs room (advance booking only, pre-paid set menu) and it was a dream! We had eight different miniature pastries (his famous flowers) each, three savoury sandwiches, one hot and one cold drink, plus a glass of champagne. A true feast! Couldn’t recommend enough, everything we tried was absolutely stunning.

Girls and gays, listen: LV is a no brainier shopping destination in Paris, we know. But instead of queuing like a loser at the famous Champs-Élysées store, go to this place instead. There is a proper store next door if you really want to buy anything that they have regularly, but for a fun experience I’d say LV Dream is better. They have a gift shop with a nice curation of objects and accessories (and even chocolate), a free exhibition about the brand, and a gorgeous cafe with bougie LV branded pastries and sweets for that obnoxious Instagram post. It’s a moment.
