Ingredients for Lemon Bars:
Crust:
• 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
• 1/4 cup (30g) powdered sugar
• A pinch of salt
Filling:
• 2 large eggs
• 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 cup (60ml) lemon juice (fresh)
• Powdered sugar for dusting
Steps to Make Lemon Bars:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch pan.
2. Mix flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt to make the crust; press into the pan.
3. Bake for 15 minutes until golden.
4. For the filling, whisk eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, and lemon juice.
5. Pour filling over the baked crust.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until set.
7. Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar before slicing.
